Cardboard-plastic packaging
Carboard-plastic packaging is the most developing type in the area of plastic packaging. It is used as a substitute for classic microwave cardboard.
Material used for manufacturing cardboard-plastic is pure polypropylene manufactured in ten basic colours. The thickness of this material is from 2 to 10 mm and its density ranges from 280 to 2,500 g/m².
Advantages of cardboard-plastic over cardboard and other types of packaging:
- high variability
- resistant to UV radiation
- heat resistant from -30 °C to +70 °C
- it meets all standards of the European Union in relation to the environment and for food contact
Cardboard-plastic enables to manufacture crates, layers, fixing elements and other products using cutting, trimming and other operations. Material can also get antistatic treatment of a permanent or short-term nature.
Overlocking cardboard-plastic
New and radical technology for treating the straight edges of cardboard-plastic boxes, crates and layers. This treatment guarantees smooth and undamaged edges and extends the life of the products.
